Dutch blind
Short Guide, Scottish traditional shopfronts, published, on 18 April 2017 by Historic Environment Scotland, defines a Dutch blind (or continental blind) as. ‘Of curved design, these are fixed to the shopfront and tend to obscure architectural detailing. Often of modern plastic materials and may be used to advertise through lettering on the front of the blind.’
